Not a huge Star Trek fan like the old as dirt bearded slide ruler wielding engineers I work with..... wait a moment, that's me too Shocked

But if I had to chose a crew, I'd go with the ST:TOS crew hands down.

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.

Captain Janeway (Picard is good, but Janeway cheats.)
First Officer Spock (Smart, loyal and resourceful. He does cry a lot.)
Chief Engineer Scotty (He could make a tin can fly. He's probably part Minmatar.)
Doctor Beverly Crusher (Brilliant mind, good bedside manner. Dr. Phlox is very tempting, though.)
Helm, etc. - Lt. Commander Data (Navigation, Weapons, Security, walking encyclopedia, rips through bulkhead doors with his bare hands, likes cats. He does sometimes break.)
Bartender - Quark (No refunds. Not responsible for lost items. Special entertainment in the back.)

Star Trek: Terms of Service?

And I thought they were milking the franchise with Enterprise P

There's a joke in there somewhere; I got nothing. Cry

I actually liked Enterprise.

Never could get into DS9 or Voyager.

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.

Hard to do with only Star Trek characters and without Firefly, Star Wars or Farscape.

This is what my crew would would probably look like:

Captain - Borg Drone #1
1st - Borg Drone #2
Pilot - Borg Drone #3
Engineering - Borg Drone #4
Doctor - Borg Drone #5
Hot Bird - Borg Drone #6
Wild Card - Borg Drone #7

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Now I'm sure as the man selecting the crew for the USS Hindentanic I have considered all possible avenues...

Sisco was better.
The Romulans don't want involved in the war that we will probably loose and prefer to be neutral.
Forge the evidence.
Ambassador realises its a fake.
Gets blown up before he makes it home.
Plant the "evidence" anyway, faster than you can say WMD's in Iraq the Romulans write off the explosion as a Dominion attack to cover up their plans, and mobilise for war.

Me, my wife, brother and sister in law. The question went down - "you need to pick a crew for your space ship, only star trek, generations, deep space 9 and voyager". This is what I went for:

Captain - Picard
1st - Spock
Pilot - data
Engineering - Scotty
Doctor - voyager hologram guy
Hot bird - seven of nine
Wild card - sulu

The arguments are still ongoing, ere are people in my room trying to tell me Tom Paris is a better bet than data . . . . What?

Captain - Janeway
1st - Harry Kim
Pilot - Wesley
Engineering - That guy that complained he was sick all the time
Doctor - Dr. Pulaski
Hot bird - Seska
Wild card - Neelix

Joking of course.

Data has superhuman reflexes, speed, strength and coordination. He never needs to eat, sleep or even take a leak. Unlike your girlfriend, data is always ready to go. He can download a doctorate worth of knowledge in seconds and he never forgets anything. His only downside is that he won't get your jokes.

Captain: Sisko
XO: Data (Would be interesting to see how he would interact with Sisko)
Science Officer: Spock
Navigation: Sulu
Engineering: Scotty
Communications: Ezri Dax
Security: Odo (Worf is pimp and all, but damnit man, he's a Klingon, not a shapeshifter)
Doctor: Joe, I mean, Voyager EMH !
Hot Bird: 7 of 9, Resistance is futile
Wild card: Wesley Crusher

The only thing I fear, is running out of beer !

First Officer: Michael Garibaldi (Babylon 5)
Navigation: Hoban "Wash" Washburne (Firefly)
Science Officer: Samantha Carter (Stargate: SG-1)
Engineer: Rodney McKay (Stargate: Atlantis)

Hot Bird: Inara (Firefly)
Wild Card: Jack O'Neill (Stargate: SG-1)

I'd never need another sci-fi show ever again.
