Sidekick + Commissioned Officer Edition - Does it stack?

Greetings,

I'm a fairly new player (trial last summer, but re-subscribed 2 weeks ago). I know what my goal is for EvE, and it involves starting a second account. Before I do start one, I wanted to know if the following signup situation would work.

If I decide to start a sidekick for $24.95, will I be able to get the perks of the Commissioned Officer edition if I purchase that as well and add it to the sidekick account?

  • 30 extra days on top of the 90 for the sidekick offer, for a total of 120 days.
  • Cerebral Accelerator bonus.

Thank you!

I just read that the Commissioned Officer edition is for trial accounts only, so this stack will not work.

Obviously, the better buy would then be the 90 day sidekick.

You succeeded in answering your own question :D.

Before you even ask, sidekicks and buddy invites do not stack :D

Thanks for the confirmation!

I do have a follow-up question: Can I buddy invite myself, and then subscribe the new trial account using the commissioned officer edition?

So, my buddy invite accounts gets a 21 day trial + 30 days paid time.
My main gets game time or a plex, that I can then give to my alt.

In total, I get 81 days of game time (21 + 30 + 30), where the last 30 can be sold for ISK or added to either account.

It looks like no one mentioned that this tactic would go against the EULA and/or ToS in this related post: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=200040

I think I may do that, unless I find that buddy inviting yourself will break the EULA.

Buddy inviting yourself is perfectly fine and a better deal than the "Start a Sidekick" thing (as you seem to have already figured out).

If you activate a trial account using a CD-KEY the buddy program DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE 30days OR THE PLEX!

Commissioned Officer Edition is an exception to that and is eligible for said rewards. ETCs also works. "Starter Packs" do not, however.
