Question about "Shipyard Theft"

This is a level 4 storyline mission. All of the mission guides seem to indicate needed a very good tank and probably a battleship. I've gotten this mission 3 times in a row and have declined it twice already. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but my suspicion is that I'm going to have to complete this storyline mission eventually.

Question 1: Where in the mission complex do you get the mission update that says you "were there."

Question 2: What sort of battlecruiser fit is suitable? I've been using a Drake, but I'm pretty sure my dps and tank are unsuitable. With the BC changes coming on Tuesday's patch, I am not sure what could be viable.

It really does depend who shipyard theft is against. The serpentis one is easier for a Drake due to its Kinetic bonus but they are all viable. Though I have not used a Drake since the heavy missile nerf this mission was not difficult for a properly fit Drake as long as you killed the Battlecruisers first to lower dps. As soon as you warp in start heading away from the enemies and make sure you only shoot the ones aggressing you. If your skills are not up to par you might need to be ready to warp out, but other than that it was pretty straightforward. According to the mission notes there are no warp scramblers so you should be able to warp out if you give yourself enough time, though not sure if this is true.
If you are nervous about a mission it is always good to bring a friend to help you out if possible. You can then see for for sure if you can handle it solo for next time. If no friend is available make sure you have the resist that match the side you are fighting against and be ready to warp out. The mission also has a cool nexus chip drop in one of the silos as mentioned in the guides. Make sure you dont miss that.
You get mission completion for the objective when you kill the last ship since it drops the stolen property. Dont forget to pick it up and bring it to your agent.

Drake won't cut it I think. Get a BS.

Even if you warp in and out it would take forever.

Many people would kill to get this one three times in a row. What rewards were offered? This is one of the few missions that can (given the right reward) net you 1 bil in a single run.

A Drake should be able to do it if you're careful. If it proves too much, I'd strongly consider (again, based on the reward offered) paying someone else to run it for you.

The current reward is skirmish mindlink. The destination system is lowsec Amarr space (in Genesis).

Those are selling for 220mil in Jita. I would highly suggest you find someone to run this one for you.

Thank you all for the advice. I finally got this done.

The standing increase was 9%.

When you loot the quest items, you get the completion check-mark.

A drake cannot handle this. Especially with my skills.
