6th amarr R&D L4 agent

Hi, as far as I can see, the amarr players only have 5 L4 R&D agents available to them. Is this correct? And if it is, it seems a little unfair, does it? I know for certain that for minmatar and gallente there are at least 7 L4 research agents, meaning that pilots can use all 6 research slots by staying true to their faction.

Neither Khanid nor Ammatar factions have L4 R&D agents. At least that is what the agent finder tells me.

This is indeed very true.

With my Ammatar Mandate Faction Standing I have access to Caldari and have done a lot of missions with Kaalakiota, so I use those as there are good level 4 R & D agents in Kor-Azor and Tash-Murkon.

Even though, it is quite unfair that every faction has plenty of L4 R&D agents, and amarr need to raise standings for two different factions.

Hmm. I will have to check that. I was almost certain Boundless Creation had only one lvl 4 R & D agent. Shocked

You probably considered this already, but the time you spend getting that 6th R&D agent is really not worth that huge que time. Considering you can get around 500x the datacores per hour invested just for circling a faction warfare button in a frigate and waiting to cash in for datacores when the time is right.

If you are doing it as part of other research goals, that's ok. Just don't expect the data core payoff in that 6th R&D agent to ever remotely become worth your time, even if you lived to be a thousand.

But that is besides the point. I know that not all things should be equal in EVE, but I believe that they should be balanced. I think that it is an important omission that every faction but amarr have enough L4 R&D.

It would be great to have a dev's input on the matter. Are Amarr going to suffer this forever and ever?

As per the recent news items on the matter, Amarr education focuses on the theological, not the scientific. The fact that their ships fly at all is a miracle, so it is not surprising to find that there are so few highly advanced Amarr research labs available to capsuleers.

As opposed to Minmatar society where engineering is the very lifeblood of what we do: everything from repurposing decorative candle holders into empire-crushing weapons, through building massive ships out of rusted scrap Lol

Yes. getting +5 or whatever to another research corporation is not hard. Its not perfectly fair, but noooobody cares.
