i was looking at the no local thread and posted a somehow unrelated thing ( sry first time ever ive posted in forums, but i like eve)
but got me thinking about this, hostile in local warp out problem.
i would like to know if this is possible or been suggested. (or any idea you might have.)

sonar type automatic d-scan

-it works like the regular d-scan but only send pulses every minute and it can only be set in 180 and 360 degrees.

-it drags the capacitor when turned on, the amount depends on range and angle.

-the local window functions like a radar, if a ship is seen with the d-scan, you will see the pilot pulse in local vanishing after a few seconds.

-this only works in places with no local.

-remove local, but when you dock or talk, you will appear in the local window until you leave the system.

your idea is more well thought, it doesnt interfere with current " careers" it enhaces them and other aspects of the game
