the fleet and ship hangars now have locks on them which must be activated/deactivated by the orca pilot. if you open the inventory tab while in the orca and look at the fleet or ship hangar, they will have two clickable icons next to them. one is for fleet and one is for corp. just click the one you want and it will open it for those respective members (icon turns green). once you set it, you don't have to change it unless you want to disable access.

This does bring up the issues around the severe lack of documentation of ingame changes as they occur.

I spent a month without using the Fleet Hangar proper as I honestly was too embarrassed to ask on the Forums about where the settings went when Retribution went live.

I finally asked in Local. And the reason I never saw the new settings location is that I hate the new Inventory UI utterly and I keep that left-hand window closed almost always. I literally would have never seen it.

This is similar to the near random movement of the "Targeting Crosshairs" setting from the Esc-Menu to it's burying in the UI Overview settings. I know that one was not even in the Patch Notes.

Pretty crazy stuff, tbh.

lack of documentation like, patch notes, dev blogs, forum posts, etc?

must admit i had the same issue with the ui covering the buttons with regard to the orca, though.

Believe me on the number of Google searches and EVERYTHING I did for that month and could find nothing. I've been in this game for 3 years and know how to find out information, but this was the first time I hit a wall.

Probably buried on the 6th page of a Google searches or something.

It was called the Corporation Hanger so that's what was searched back in December. Even the info about the name change was buried.

EDIT: Anyway, I'm outta here. The purpose was pointing out seemingly random and arbitrary changes and no documentation, or just plain outdated information like this Evelopedia Page: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Item_Database:Skills:Social

The title of the Devblog was "Corp Hangars and You"
(It's the first result for "eve corp hangar devblog" and "eve corporation hangar devblog" while it's the second result for "eve orca hangar devblog", and it was posted November 30.)

The Devblog also explains exactly why they made the changes that they did. What more documentation do you want than a DevBlog detailing exactly what's happening and why?

On the subject of Orca's is the mining link that increases CPU on ships in the fleet currently bugged/broken. I don't usually use it but last time I did there was no CPU increase when the stats say there should be a thirty-odd percent increase in CPU.

Erh what?

Might it be that you are confusing it with the Harvester Capacitor Mindlink that reduces the cap need?

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
