It would be a shame if something happened to those delegates. I hope their guard is up to the task of this historic event.

Because they're still Nefantar. We in the Mandate at least owe them that much.

I'll be making a "Tribal Delegation Escorts" channel if anyone is interested.

All seven delegates arrived safely in Pator to meet with the Sanmatar. It was a privilege to be in the company of such esteemed Minmatar and I would like to extend thanks to the thirty or so Capsuleers who joined me in Rens for the escort.

Amarrian militia forces made an attempt to intercept Starkmanir representative Asogur Gertak, but were unsuccessful. Their destroyer fleet launched an attack in Onga on the Pator gate, Gifen Skalkar of the Brutor was also at this location at that point, but the Amarrian force was swiftly repulsed by the escorts and security forces which were clearly on high alert.

Would you happen to have the names of the pilots that attempted the attack?

Unfortunately, Communication Regulations prevent me from providing direct data ((OOC: No Killboard Links on the IGS)). However, I can confirm that Fweddit was the Corporation involved in the attack on the Delegates. A check on the Public Combat Records will show the Specific Individuals.

Colour me curious, Ugleb.

Given all the pretty words Ms. Polevhia and her Nation sympathist colleagues have been recently trumpeting on their wish for cluster-wide peace, unity and harmony was she or any of "her people" of assistance in this event? Or was the veiled threat above the extent of her involvement in a process that holds out the hope of beginning to realise her stated goals?

That was a threat? Even a veiled one?

Both Vherokior and Thukker tribal chiefs had a safe voyage from Teonusude to Pator under a heavily guarded fleet. We were met with resistance from Amarrian forces upon reaching Onga - a hostile fleet which was reported to be between 50-70 in strength. However, these were already largely dispersed by the Republic Fleet upon our arrival.

It is with immense pride that each of you who assisted in each escort party can remember this day as the dawn of a new beginning for our people.

Long live Sanmatar Shakor!
Long live the Tribes!
Long live the Republic!

It is a pity you were only able to respond with a pithy personal attack. Certainly such attacks go against how you like yourself to be perceived. Still, we are all entitled to a slip now and then.

Will I take your lack of a response to the actual question raised as admission that the Foundations washed its hands of this opportunity to promote peace, unity and harmony within the cluster?

SYNE was honored to be witness to this postive step forward for the Republic. Stabilty builds peace, and this momentous occassion will serve to bring stabilty to an unstable place.

Allowing the Ammatar to sit in council may yet be the greatest misstep the republic has made.

Until the mandate is made ash and the Amarr are only a distant nightmare we will not know freedom. Make no mistake this is no step forward this is a step into a trap.

Complacency will bring us nothing but chains.

Yes, a rather sad attempt was made by a handful of ships associated with Fwedit made a token attack at one point and were dispatched so quickly that I could hardly even be considered a fight.

Not even sure what they hoped to accomplish. We've got Sansha's Nation still raiding all of known space, while Angel Cartel, Serpentis & Guristas pirates run rampant, Blood Raiders doing things to people that makes Sansha's look kind in comparison, and rogue drones still infesting every nook & cranny in New Eden... and then watching a bunch of malcontent fanatics sacrifice so many ships & crews over seven delegates... to do what exactly?

As I've said before, I have no qualms taking missions in Republic space to destroy these threats or transporting supplies to those in need. Just as I had no qualms participating in this escort fleet (I was one of the first half dozen people to contact Mr.Karhisen when he arrived) and I was not the only Empire loyalist who volunteered to help protect those delegates, either, I might add.

The question is whether or not these new delegates will acknowledge or remember this little detail in the future. Will they prove to be real leaders with intelligence who can shape and influence their people towards peace, or will they simply prove to be opportunists who let the bloodlust of the mob shape their policies for them?

Only time will tell, but at least I know that some of us made an effort with this show of goodwill.
