Idea:
The ability to drag a note from your notepad to other communication windows

How it would function:
This would provide a link in the channel, which, when clicked would open up the note in a separate window (where it could be saved, much like how linking fits works).

Why?
This, as far as i can tell, has limited accessibility to most players. My need for it comes from needing to make MOTD information concise. For instance, the logistics channels i use have all the recommended/required fits in, things which i already know and have, but others might not. Being able to shove this into a note and sticking the note in the MOTD would be considerably easier and much more concise.
Other areas where this could be used is linking specific routes, as when you copypaste IG links, they are no longer linked. If you need to post a route to multiple people, you could create all the links in one note and then drag that to where it needs to be.


Tl;dr Make notes like fittings

Insofar as they spam chat with contracts; urls and shitfits. This just gives them a new thing to spam, but wouldn't increase the rate at which spam would occur. The text in the note would remain in the note, it wouldn't be pasted into the chat channel. You would have to click the link in order to see the text.

you mean to say this isn't already possible with all the other methods?

Literally any link text in eve can be re-written to say something else. That is a generic problem with the linking mechanics and no concern of mine. If you're fool enough to open links from Jita chat, be my guest
