FANFEST TICKETS --------- will CCP be releasing more ?

so yea they're sold out, i've got mine, but i keep hearing people saying they wanted to go but didn't get a ticket.

so will CCP be releasing more tickets ??

They bothered to make a splash screen with a "sold out" message.

If they could legally cram more people into the venue, they would have made a "hey, we found 500 more tickets in CCP Guard's top drawer" screen instead, and proceed to sell them.

So whoever didn't buy their tickets quickly enough, will have to wait until 2014.

The main hall of Harpa only has capacity for 1800 people, so the available tickets would've been somewhere around that number. They can't sell any more tickets than the venue can legally hold (Yes, there are laws that cover this sort of thing).

ONLY if you've booked and paid for your flight and hotel room BEFORE they sold out. Get ahold of customer service and expect to prove this...

…that too. Hotel rooms were getting scarce before the tickets were even released. Even if they could get more people into the venue, I'm beginning to think they can't get them into the city by now. P

there is always extra tickets kept for emplyees,family,vips,guests and so on.
so who knows maybe some one at CCP might say, yea feck it, I'll raffle them.
or perhaps someone who bought tickets and can't go now might want to sell them.

There is still quite a lot of accomodation available at that time in Reykavik. I rented a house Cool

yes that's true, but I was there last year, there was way more then 1800 people at fanfest.

you did make me think though and it brings up an interesting question.

how many tickets where sold this year ?

Edit: i was wrong, apparently there was just over 1000 people last year,

Those extra tickets would've been assigned before tickets were available to the public.
If you buy a ticket from someone who no longer wants theirs, it's a scam. The ticket is tied to the name of the original buyer & you have to produce both the confirmation number & photo ID.

The hall isn't large enough to cram more than a certain amount of people in. I believe the hall they booked has a capacity of 1000-1500?

I just hope they live stream it again like they did last year. Next best thing to being there.

As has been said, there are laws about putting more people into the venue than is legally allowed. If you already booked flights and accommodations before FanFest sold out, please e-mail fanfestsupport@eveonline.com with details.

We will be offering some method of streaming FanFest this year for people who cannot attend.

FF is sold out... it will be a huge battle, when you think that last year with less people we barely all fit in the main conference hall for CCP Present....
