Short downtime! Congrats to CCP!

Well, today must been one of the shortest downtimes experienced, EvE was only down for 15 min (or even less!) Congratulations to CCP for optimizing the downtime of the servers.
I remember when it sued to be down for an hour usually, then half an hour most of the time, and ever decreasing, with today's downtime at 15 min or less it's a great milestone! Shows CCP is doing their best to optimize Eve.

When I logged back on, 9 minutes after DT started, there were already 20k people on, so im guessint it wasn't much more than 6 tops

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

Downtime has changed from a real interruption of the gaming experience to just an opportunity to make a cup of coffee or grab something to eat. That and the shortened session change timer are really important accomplishments by CCP :)

That said, for us wormhole dwellers downtine still has a large and unfortunate impact because it resets the signature IDs. I usually don't bother scanning in the morning because I know IDs will change soon anyhow. I hope they soon make it so that a site or wormhole always has the same ID until it despawns.

Although 24- makes more sense to keep to Eve naming formats it should be 24dot/7

Some of us, dont bother with the launcher... who needs patches anyway :)

Edit: They're onto the 3rd restart so far... hmmmm, something done got broke boss.... either that or someone keeps rebooting the wrong server
