What non-obvious things have changed since then?

Fleet fights work
Players have kissed and made up with CCP
About 500 minor UI/usability improvements
Tiercide has made T1 cruisers and frigates unironically useful
You should train BC V right away if you don't already have it
Mission and belt rats are mean to drones.

Train Destroyers V too while you at it.
Other then that. The typical, CCP tries to fix one thing by breaking the next thing, to fix it by breaking the third etc. etc.
But hey, it's an awesome game, so we don't care.

edit: i myself am disappointed though in no walking in stations... :(

Disappointed for no WiS.

You are one of the few in that. I'm glad CCP finally got their heads out of a place where ther is no sunshine and started doing serious things again by working on what EVE is about: Internet spaceships.
