So basically what happens is the game wont start after hitting play on the launcher. I've tried running straight from the .exe but that does nothing. When I look on the Task Manager I can see an instance of the client running under processes for every time I've tried to launch it. I'm running 64bit windows 7 and have attempted to reset the settings for both the client and the launcher but to no avail.

What kind of processor and graphics card do you have? It is possible you don't meet the requirements. Here they are.

If you do meet these requirments, its also possible your graphics card does not support shader model 3.

If you meet all requirments, unistall it and download again. Also, try downloading latest drivers, as not all necessacry drivers are included in the download, as far as I know. Here are the nessecary drivers.

Overall, update all already installed drivers.

Hopefully it helps,

"my computer"
right click "local disk (c:) " drive
choose "properties"
select "tools" tab
select "scan disk" (also known as -> ) Error-checking -> Button says "check now".
press "start" (2 options, top 1 selected, 2nd one not selected).
computer asks to "Schedule disk check" or dismount drive,
Should it ask to dismount,
say no. Then it . .
Should it say "schedule disk scan", click that.
reset.
20 minutes.

same as above,
stop in tools tab,
select "defragment now",
choose the same drive you error checked " . . . (C:) "
press "defragment"

the less you do in that pc, the better it defrags.

all this is built into windows, 100% free.

Did you get this problem fixed? I'm having the same issue.

My PC meets the required spec and I don't need to defrag as the build is fairly new (and using SSD)

Latest drivers are being used for GFX.

Specs are:

E8600 @ 4GHz
5870HD
8GB RAM
Windows 7 x64
120GB Sandisk SSD
