Please allow to manually warp into the direction the ship is currently facing. The value should have to be entered (minium: 150 km). Of course this should only be allowed where warping is possible and it should be limited to a maximum distance from the sun (e.g. double the distance the furthest planet is away).

Always stay aligned to a celestial or other warpable target.

Doesn't TEST teach this?

Thank you.

Absolutely NO.....

Why not:
a.) In the case of On-Grid Warping: You really screw up Sniping mechanics, not to mention other chase mechanics... Needing an object to warp to is an important part of PvP, and this change destroys one of the important roles of fleet inties... No, just from this perspective...

b.) In the case of Off-Grid Warping: You essentially allow the creation of deepsafes, which CCP has strived to eliminate... There are only a few methods left to ascertain deep safes in this game, and you're essentially adding more by allowing a person to aim in a random, off-aligned direction and power out.... You probably don't think this is a big deal, but people, when allowed to create deep safes, do so.... when they last removed deepsafes to make them "within 20 au of the solar system edge", people lost their 1000+ au deeps... I see no reason to re-introduce these!
