Greetings, I have 2 chars, one is a highly skilled PVE char and the other is a PVP character. The pvp guy has been -10 for a while and its come time to get that sec status back up after having problems getting to fights from not being able to go through highsec.

My question is: If I do anomalies, like forsaken hubs or rally points with the guy who needs the status, then warp in my PVE char in an Ishtar and assign sentries to the dude who's actively running the mission, who gets the sec status? is it shared? And yes I know this isnt the most efficient way to gain sec status I know the right way but I am lazy and this is the way I wanna do it. tia

O c'mon someone knows. Is sec standing gains shared between 2 fleeted guys if all one is doing is assigning sentries?

From looking at my combat logs it appears that my char that already had 5.0 sec status stopped getting any increase so I would assume that is all going to the other char.

Also, dual box PvE is still very doable if you are using the right ships.

I think you just need to be fleeted and in the same grid, uncloaked, to get sec status. You do not even need to shoot.

After some changes a few months ago a lot of people complained that only the guy with the last hit on a rat would get the increase in standings. I don't know if that still is the case.

On the other hand it shouldn't matter if you get at least one last hit on a battleship every 20 minutes.

Doing anomalies isn't the fastest way to get your sec status up. To do that you would need to have like a chain of 4-5 systems, kill a battleship in each of those and go to the next. After the 4th or 5th go back to the first. Each system has it's own built-in timer for sec status increase.

So after some field tests I can confirm that 2 guys fleeted- one with 5.0 security status and the other guy -10, if the 5.0 guy in an Ishtar assigns sentries to the -10 dude the -10 guy gets all the security status hits. I dont know if this is because 5.0 guy has 5.0 or because of assigned drone mechanics. Lazy folks rejoice!
