EDK Killboard remote access?

I've been asked to develop a new front page for our alliance. And i would like to include this month's top killer as long as this week's expensive loss on my website's front page. As well as the logged in pilot number of kills and losses.

The problem comes from the fact that the website (along with forum) is hosted on a different host than the killboard. It's convenient to have it separated and we would rather not change that.

First time i'm toying with EDK so i might be missing something. but there are no APIs right?

I'm thinking i have to make my own 'API' by making a script pulling all the relevant data and presenting it in a neat xml for my other server to fetch. Does something like this exist somewhere? Maybe there is a better way to do this?

Thanks for reading!

This is probably the simplest option going, set the database to allow remote connections and pull the information that way rather then making an API for it.

there is the old style feed, and the idfeed, however those wont help you get top killers.
