I have a dream!

Alright mates, listen to me, a have a great idea!
Maybe someone had the same one before, dunno, but it's still ******* great.

CCP should offer a "skill-reset".
Maybe every 6 months or only once per character, for a small fee. (i.e. 2 PLEX)

All your SP should be reset to "unallocated skillpoints", and you'll be able to skill your failskilled char once again.
CCP also could remove 5% of your maximum SP when resetting skills, so you don't reset skills all day.

What do you guys think about this?

Terrible idea.

Makes all choices irrelevant. People who have endured years of PvP training would be facing people who traded for years and became rich, and that got perfect Gunnery skills by way of two clicks and two Plexes that they LOLed at.

Consecuences. Do not eliminate them from the game.

Also, 1/10. Trolling should preferrably force other users to rage, not to preach.

Is it too much to ask that people search and see if their brand new idea has been shot down -- repeatedly -- before?

You can skill reset at any time you want. The process though removes almost all your skillpoints but they throw in a name change and a sculpt with it. It's called biomassing. Do it, destroy the character and start a new one.

There is almost no way of "failskilling" a character. At most it will take you about three months to fix anything absolutely wrong and that is reserved for things like "I trained for the paladin and have now decided that I like the widow more".

Just sell the character on the bazaar and buy a new one.

You have a dream? You're not even Minmatar.

And no.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

why not have two parallel skill trees? you could swap between them with a magic scroll. we can call it "dual spec" Roll

I should buy an Ishtar.

OCD is a hell of a disease. Yours seems bad even for an eve player, and that's really saying something. Get help.

I imagine the 100+ million skillpoint clubs would die if this happened... die with laughter. This would even be outrageously good for the 50 million skillpoint players.

While i agree with your general message i think we're looking at a TINY bit more than 3 months here. :)

I have to remind you that I said every 6 or more months.
Or maybe only once.
It would be great, I would have such a clean skilltree.

And stop flaming me ffs, it was an idea, not an insult.

Interesing option. And costs 2 PLEX as well, but offers more ISK and SP flexibility.
