8 Launcher ship?

I've searched the market a good 20 times looking for a ship that can use 8 launchers...only to find the highest is 7. Just about every single one of them when fitted looks like it's missing something...like my Drake and its abandoned little square. Am I missing them and about to feel utterly stupid for missing them or do they not even exist? Seems a little unfair to me for the strongest ships to use 8 turrets or turret/launcher combo but none have pure launcher.

Well that answers that question...and I feel so stupid that my next ship was gonna be a basic Raven.

In 1.1 the drake, habinger, and brutix are all dropping to 6 turrets/launchers but are upping from 5% dmg bonuses to 10%

FINALLY the harby will have an even 6 :D

The problem with missiles is not a lack of DPS, it's the fact that it's so difficult for them to project that damage onto targets smaller than the ship.

So 8 launchers isn't really necessary, what would help is if TC/TE were changed to work on explosion radius/velocity or missile velocity depending on the scripts used.

Oh by the way, the Drake is soon going to have 6 launchers instead of 7. ;)

No offense taken on it...probably would have noticed it if i checked special edition ships first. Ill have to put off the dream of 8 launchers till i can figure out how to make mind control work on devs...

Golem has 4 launchers with 100% bonus to them, making them 8. Obviously only using half the ammo.

And the upcoming Drake, with it's 6 launchers and 50% damage bonus at Lvl 5, will give it the equivelent of 9 juicy launchers...

I think the Raven will lose it's four turret slots, come Summer, so you might get an 8 launcher ship SOON.
