Corp Bulletins, how to improve on them.

As I see it as a CEO this is a bit of a useless feature that with only a few tweaks could be much more useful. I know that CCP is looking at the corporation management interface already, but I figured since I found no threads specifically for this that I would make one.

Now, for the actual idea itself:
-Make the corporation bulletins draggable and linkable.
-Create some form of notification system in addition to the bulletins, such as a "Corporation Pings" of some sort, this ping system would work similar to how large alliances use mumble and could be 'linkable' with permission from the parties to multiple alliances and corporations. This makes creating coalitions just that much easier, and let's face it this is the age of coalitions regardless so you might as well habitate them.
-Notifications for the bulletins themselves, this would add another tab in the mailing notifications labeled "Bulletins" that would group together the bulletins for new members into a single mail linking them in a similar manner that corporation ads are linked now. The bulletins would show up in a sort of list, this prevents new players from getting spammed by an absurd amount of mails the moment they join.

As of right now I encourage corporate members to check bulletins regularly, because this makes it easy for you to put information out there for all members that are already there or have just joined. I would love to see this feature to get more love seeing as it has great potential to be used but in its current state can't with any degree of ease.

tl;dr

If you ever look at the sky, doubting the existence of other worlds, just know that somewhere a creature looks up at its sky, doubting you.

A watered down forum board type deal would be nice and would beat just static bulletins. Forums are just so much better for information and communication than a static bulletin/ email system. You can not only give info, but give and get feedback through threads and stickies.

This would also help out smaller and medium sized corps or CEOs who want the kind of communications a forum board would offer, but do not want the hastle and expense of having to find hosting and configuring PHPbb.

Make this viewable out of game via EVEgate, I could see quite a few people use this.

Agreed, and EVE Gate needs to be more ethical as well. Mind you lots of EVE's social features need a bit of polishing, and I'd love to be able to manage the corporation without logging in all the time to hound everyone. Having a reliable system to do this with would be wonderful.

As a side not I'm Exterminatus, his account expired thus I'm bumping it with this one.

Bump, I do really want to see this idea implemented.

It'd make life a whole lot easier if I could just link a bulletin in corp mails, so on so forth. And I do want to see this looked at in time for the corporation management overhaul.

Yeah, dragable bulletin posts would be very handy.

/me counts the time she has made null edits just to get the bulletins in some logical order

edit -- yes, I can make links.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Well the goal behind this is so that people don't have to go out of game to get this kind of info. And lets face it, the EVE browser needs an overhaul itself. It also is rather handy being able to just compact everything into one system rather than split it across multiple.

Getting things in order is very very handy too, though I actually wasn't talking about that. I should have said 'linkable' bulletin posts instead, but this is oh so very true as well.

Evegate (and eve forums) work fine using the IGB
