Also a lot of COSMOS missions have you get items that you can just buy on the market. I have completed a lot of COSMOS missions just by accepting the mission, buying the relevant item, and turning in the mission. And the dog tag thing, that can get you pretty far all by itself.

maybe its a long time

yup. Long time. Took me over a year of running cargo missions on and off... Of course it didn't help that I started off running a few missions for this NPC corp then than NPC Corp times 20 until I started dedicating my time with just one NPC corp...

make sure you understand factions. I sure didn't. Not sure I do now, but at least I have a PoS anchored in a .6 system.

You can easily have the standings in less than a week for a high sec POS starting with a brand new character and never shoot a thing. With a generous ISK infusion to the new character you can do it in two days.

Fleeting, tags, COSMOS, distribution.

Umm, no. Each of the COSMOS tag missions are a one time offer.

Are you sure? I think I did at least one of them twice and they keep offering me the missions while the other COSMOS agents say they don't have any work for me (and after I ran them once).

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

You're talking about the Data Centers and yes, they are just like Cosmos Agents, can only be completed once in the characters life time for Faction Standing increase.

Same as Career Agents and Circle Agents, only once in the characters life time.

Only the Epic Arcs can be completed repeatedly (every 3 months) for Faction Standing increase.

The easy way is simply to buy a corp with standings. But your character must be neutral to whomever you need, in order to keep the corp standings. I've done this myself.

Edit: What Whitehound said.

You can also buy a corp thats already anchored the POS. Then what happens to standings after you take possession is irrelevant.

Fly frigate running LVL1 missions for months?

Hi. I am a station trading alt. I have zero skills except for all Trade skills 5. I have 9.06 with Caldari State and 8.63 with Caldari Navy.

I got this by autopiloting L2 couriers in a magnate while doing more exciting things on my combat chars Smile

Find a corp who has a POS already, and join them! If you want to do ME/PE research, you don't even need to be in the same corporation as long as the access control is set up correctly on the POS. You'll need a corp office in the same system though.

A small POS can keep a R&D corp of about three capsuleers occupied, a large tower will provide enough resources for a dozen capsuleers to keep themselves busy.

Another option is to hire someone with high standings to join your corp, raise the standings, anchor the tower, then quit the corp.

Alts

I'm industry based, god just shy of 98m sp and only 7mil are gunnery, and that's because I was at a juncture of what I wanted to do. I don't think this character has ever fired anything in a mission apart from tractor beams and salvagers, yet I've got 8.9 unmodified with Caldari State, 6.88 with Ammatar mandate, 5.99 with Amarr Empire.

I leave all the missile lobbing to an alt, I accept the mission, he lobs bang sticks around and I collect the reward.

Hi OP.

You create one man corp with 0 standings to x faction, "i join your corp with my main to with 9,98 to caldari, or 9.0 to amarr" after one week our average standing to x faction become corp standing, you create pos in caldari or ammar space i leave corp, profit for you, one method that people use since years.

Here in EvE also a lot services which offer standing boost using this expample.

And now somthing about faction tags and standing boost.

Faction tags are expensive and got marginal effect on stanging boost, they are ok while you want boost stanging form like 4.50 to max 6.0 after spending xxx mil isk on tags, while somone got like 9.2 standing and he spent xxx mil isk on tons of tags after usage his standing jump from 9.2 to like 9.4 max, higer base standing less profit from tags...

Ps.Here also a lot services which offer jump clones, while player x is above 8.0 to x faction.

EvE isn't game, its style of living.
