Hi,

I'm thinking on creating an alt for hauling/orca and other stuffs while my main one for pvp. Should I go with SideKick or just invite myself and upgrade that account?

Do SideKick has any benefit to main account? I'm assuming no since they don't put any info about that.

So,

SideKick $24.95
Main Alt = Get Nothing
Alt Account = 90 Days game time

Buddy Invite $14.95
Main Alt = +30 Days game time
Alt Account = 21 + 30 game time

Total :
90 Days for $24.95
or
81 Days for $14.95

It seems buddy invite seems better, or am I wrong?

And also, in the future (after my alt finishes all skills that I want), can I transfer that character to my main account? So that I only pay 1 subscription later on?

Whichever you pick, you can transfer characters around accounts later. Check this page for more info.

But once the char on my alt merged on my main, I can only train 1 at a time right?

Correct, and only one can be logged in at a time.

Correct.

Only 1 training character on 1 account.

Only 1 character logged in on 1 account.

Hold on there fella.

I buddy invited myself about a month ago to start an alt, and when I went to sub it for the first month they offered me 3 months for the price of 2.

It may have changed, but you lose nothing to try it now. If you dont get the offer, drop the buddy account and do the sidekick deal.

This account runs out tomorrow. The other day I just resubbed an old account that I played for a month plus the trial. I didnt realize about the sidekick thing, so I'm going to let this account expire and sidekick this to the other account. A buddy account would work if you're starting fresh with new account though.

You can do a buddy invite for an existing account? Just send it to their email account?

No, the "buddy" must create a new account. You can send the buddy invite FROM an existing account TO someone who must create a new account.

CCP is doing all these promotions to increase their player base (number of accounts), not to give us all free time, plexes, or discouts, for no benefit at all to themselves.

Do you have to Do all the Skills again with sidekick?

Yes you do. It's a completely new character and separate account.
The idea is to spread your skills between the two.
Typically, people train their main in combat and the alt to make money or support the main in some way.
