Seriously this show is amazing. It has brilliant, self contained episodes, a wonderful cast, great production design and a brilliant story, which was never really allowed to arch.

I thought Firefly was awesome myself, and I was seriously disappointed by how it was cut short. I understand why, not having seen it till I watched it on Netflix years after production, but still disappointed.

Terrible effects, (mostly), and some bizarre costuming, but otherwise the acting was good and everything sort of fit. It worked, whatever its failing and I liked it.

I keep thinking they should remake it, but I know that--chances are--without the original cast, it would be generally sub par.
