I was flying my little caracal around nullsec looking for some solo fights when I happened onto a black core alliance gate camp. As I landed into the bubble their 8 man gang attacked me. Knowing my fate I locked up one of their purifiers and began shooting, hoping to take one down with me.

As I entered 60% armor however the grid suddenly dropped. Thinking that I had scared them away with my act of defiance I warped off to a safe where we began having a lovely little chat in local before I logged off. Saved by a grid **** up and was wondering how these things happen?

Nup, I had no idea how the heck I fell off the grid, I'm just saying how lucky I was. I think it's because they set up their bubbles weirdly dragging the grid or something.

Check out the link the guy above you dropped. Grid magic is about the closest thing we get to terrain in this game. What happened is an 'older' grid was present near the fight, and being kept open, and when the grid you were on was created (presumably by the campers), it was reduced to the 'walls' of the old grid which had priority. Can be really disorintating when everything suddenly vanishes (amoung the more amusing cases was a fight when our logistics ships fell into another grid, leaving us repair-less for a while :S)

Translation:

Being in RA, I bragged about how super leet I was in local for this fortuitous happenstance. They then brought in more people and horribly camped me into the system. Seeing as that im in RA, and there was no backup available to rescue me, I decided to spam local with more tales of my glorious exploits while my timer ran out, then pulled the leetest move of all..the logoffski. True story bro.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Since 1.1 patch I am having problems with the Reblier gate at 6-CZ49 system. Things like warping at 170 / 200 / 230 km from gate and having nothing at my overview. Ships that are at zero from gate and bubble around gate are only “entering grid” when I stay less the 150km from gate.
And no, it not my overview setting, since it is working right at other gate, other systems.
More, when ships warp to gate, they briefly show at overview when they pass near to me, and then disappear again when they land at gate or bubbles.
Things was working right before 1.1 patch, but since that gate is bugged with this “shortened grid gate” problem. And other players are having the same problem, so it is not my client or lagged connection.

Anyone with that problem too? Or at other gates?

Yeah, good one, it makes me laugh.

By the way, I bug report it CCP: Nr 154263. Please take a look at it, since, until my knowledge the grid should expand until 250km around the gate, and not only 150km.

And to be clear, I am not talking about someone, or some corp/alliance. This is about a clear game function (the 250km grid) that are not working as expected. Thank you.
