Why ECM is Bullshit

Damps make no sense having worse range than ECM.

Honestly the thing I'd most like to see (other than bumping the strenght a bit, not all the way to pre-uber-nerf levels) for damps is to give damps a long, ECM style optimal and to cripple ECM optimal. Ewar is supposed to counter the racial opponent or compensate for racial weaknesses. Damps should let Gallnte boats force Caldari to engage at close range by reaching out; ECM ought to cripple close-range brawlers but have limited effect much beyond 10 - 20 km.

And agree wholeheartedly, since the nerf, damps have been a horridly underpowered EWAR compared to all the others (except maybe TP's...)

Increase range, bump up strength. It shouldn't take 3 bonused damps to be as effective an EWAR as 1 ECM.

And a sudden plunge in the sullen swell. Ten fathoms deep on the road to hell.

Talliana, absolutely. Bring 2 Failcons, lock out 6+ ships easy and from outside scramble range. Bring 2 Arazu and get 2 or 3 with comma to coordinate third Target.

Also yes I'm posting on a phone. Shame some people are dumb and just want to be heard being dumb :P

Problem with the damps was that it allowed for ships to stay out of targeting range and brind down the hurt. Pernamently. This made some interceptors invunerable.

Not sure on this either way. More useful modules is a good thing ... but CCP isn't exactly known for keeping balance...
