Which WH should I choose?

I've decided to finally give a try to life in WH... So in the last couple of months I kept scanning and visiting whs while doing exploration.
I'm going to stay there alone (well, with my other accounts... 4 in total), so I was thinking about a C2 as the best choice for me.
Mainly I would do pve and indy, at least at the beginning.
Already have my large amarr tower ready, with good defences.
Can't fly T3 yet, so will bring mainly BCs, maybe BS if needed, and probably an orca... and maybe build a carrier later, if will like/last enough in there.

I don't know much about wh yet, so my question is... the 2 best C2 I've found so far are one with perfect PI and HS+C4 static, and the other one with soso PI (can make all pos fuel+t2 stuff, plus half the "big" ones) and HS+C1 static.
Both inhabitated, but with pocos up... in the first one, will have to shoot them, as they are not usable, in the second one I can access to them with 0% taxes.

What do you think? Which should be the best one for me? Or should I keep looking for something else?
(HS static is pretty good for me, as I will have to haul stuff in and out, doing indy in there)

Go with the first C2 - the one with the HS & C4 statics.

On another and far more important note I'm glad you've decided to give w-space a try. Be warned though: your ships will burn, you will die. People will hunt your mercilessly and their patience for a kill is far greater than your patience for more ISK.

Keep out a sharp eye and you will experience all those horrible things less often. I hope to see you soon.

Honestly living solo I wouldn't do a C2.

For one, C2's are generally the most popular "lower" class wormhole. Due to a C2's double statics, they can support a larger corp (farming the static) while maintaining easy access to k-space. So a decently desirable C2 system is gonna be at greater risk of eviction.

My alliance has maintained a C2/C3/HS WH for a number of years. And I'd say at least 3 times we've had to repel attempts to kick us out.

Also the double static makes it harder for a solo person to maintain security when doing all of those PVE activities.

I've lived solo in a C1 (3 accounts) and semil solo in a C3.

A C1 is nice and easy. Makes decent isk for a solo player. Plenty of isk with PI, as well.

When the C1 was empty I'd just use it as my mobile base. I'd pop out wherever it happened to be and do whatever. explore, missions, roam lowsec etc.

C3 was similar with harder sites etc.

TBH with the current skills you mentioned if you had to do a C2 then i would chose a C2 with a C1 static for farming. There would be much less attempts to remove you then a Wh with a C3 and C4 static.

But optimally as your soloing it with those skills i would go a C1.

i think a c4 is best for you, you wants to have the least traffic into your system and least time beeing disturbed. c4 has the least traffic...

but best advice is : dont go solo, better apply to a corp and do things together. makes more fun, logictics easier and much more

No no no, you set up shop in a quiet c4 then farm the low class static. Might make logistics a pita though

hs static is good for starters, also the c4 will come in handy. you can easily farm all the c2 anomalies and sigs with bc sized ships and a defended large tower will make eviction a pain for those interested. c4s are good only for their ladars, (given the fact that atm you're short on dps) but be warned, high end ladars rats are not that easily to clear our.

also a system with under 30AUs will make your life easier, but that's not much of a factor supposing you'll first run a full scan of the hole before gettin to daily business.

wish you luck and welcome to the bright side Cool

T3 cruisers are pretty important for soloing C3s, so as you can't fly them yet i'd recommend you go for a C2. But with 4 accounts, spidertanking the sites of a C3 could be possible. Though the main issue is finding one that isn't taken. That will be the true challenge, you might be better off offering isk for people to find one rather than just searching solo and hoping for the best. If you're planning to stay there for a long period once you've found one, then you definately want a large POS, armed to the teeth and with tons of ECM.

Good luck!

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

Contrary to what the Uni has taught you. Shooting ships and podding people makes you a better person.

C4/C1 or C5/C1. You'll get almost no traffic in a C4/C1, and the sites will be multi-boxable in home system, but there is a small chance someone may try to evict you. C5/C1 you'll get more traffic due to C5/C5s, the sites will be more difficult to multi-box (you'd want your own cap squad), but there is almost no chance someone is going to evict you unless they REALLY like the PI in system.

If you don't want the C2/C1 I would be interested in purchasing a BM for it from you... just shoot me a mail in game and we can negotiate.

I agree on that. There's nothing that boring to roam a WH where a 4 toon corp of alts lives in without having a chance for PvP if there are no other, IF not also from a few toon corp of alts, inbound WH's.

Also what he said. Join a decent Corp or Alliance who can teach you the way of WH-life and enjoy the easiness as also the troublesome of this type of life as a corp.

Honestly, I think you should choose a c6-c6. Nothing better than a challenge.

1. Having lived in a wh with only alts; I would highly suggest you just find a C3/LS wh. There are quite a few empty ones.
2. T3's are overated and very expensive. Especially when multiboxing anything from c3 or less. Each T3 you will eventually lose to pvp takes atleast 10 c3 sites to make back + plus training time. I don't remmember it exactly but I think you can lose quite a few insured bs {atleast 4} for the same price as losing a tengu.
3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Don't bother with PI. For it to be worth it, your life will be miserable.
10. Jump Clones are your friend.
11. Scan alt with Deep Space Probes.
12. If you wanna do industry, I'd suggest lowsec. Sure the PI is horrible, mining is also atrocious, etc etc but having a set location and not having to autopilot or manually fly an orca/freighter all over the map even with a highsec static is worth it.

LMFAO. I once went to watch a movie whilst being camped and sitting inside the forcefields. Returned hours later only to find out they infact where still there. They didn't even bother to run any sites or RF the POS.
