hello gm cloudy awhile back i sent in a pettiton about an issue i am having. you responded and said basically that you haven't heard of the bug and want more info and i assumed it was well known and a fix would show up eventually but i forgot about my pettiton and it was closed due to a time out (my fault). it seems that right after the retribution launch a bug concerning hics came up. and to this day i am still having it and every one else iv talked to about it is having the same problem basically if your in a hic and you are using a cloak when you decloak and try to put up your bubble you get a msg saying you cant due to the cloaks sensor re calibration timer. the recal timer of a cloak has never affected the deploying of a warp disruption field untill now i thought it was on of those stealth nerfs u guys try to pull on us from time to time so i made my kinda snarky petition...sry bout thatOops cause i lost a sweet kill due to this bug X and was uber pissed then i made a bug rep and the B.H. attached it to a defect so i was quite sure this was now a know bug and a fix was coming soon tm.Rollso i waited and patch after patch nothing in the patch notes. well i just saw ur response to my timed out petition and I said THAT'S IT WE NEED TO FIX THIS NAOW!!!!!!!!11 so here i am trying to get your attention on the forums LolRoll hope it worksUgh

the exatct msg i get after i decloak and try to put up my bubble is

"you cannot preform that action at this time as your sensors are re-calibrating after the use of a cloaking device"

every one i have spoke to about this has had the same problem.

i just tried unfiting and refiting the Warp Disruption Field Generator I and the Improved Cloaking Device II but it did not fix the bug

the ships name is ╬ Sticky Icky it is in my sma1 at J213058 IX - Moon 14 pos name is Fully Armed and Operational you can come try it out ur self

how to reproduce
1. get a hic with a bubler and a cloak
2. cloak
3. decloak
4. deploy bubble
5. fail to bubble up
6. cry as your prey flys away and lols at u in localEvil

if you need more info just ask

please fix this its been over a month long

so i tried this with a fly catcher cloaked & decloaked then launched a Interdiction Sphere that was all fine and dandy untill i tried to launch a second probe and i got a msg saying that i needed to wait 1:20 to launch another one when did ccp add a stealth nerf to Interdiction Sphere Launcher and give it a 94.40 s reactivation delay who added this stealth nerf i know there has bee nothing in the patch notes about this CCP I HATE STEALTH NERFS !!! FIX NOWEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvil


and yes i bug reped this one too

Pretty much the same response I got when I sent a bug report in about the cloak / bubble issue. Sounded like it wasn't intended, and that it is actually a bug, and it was going to be investigated, so I left it at that.

My broadsword gathers dust, and my alt in her devotor is nagging me about the decloak / bubble "bug".

Directing it to a specific GM isn't going to get it fixed faster. They don't have that much influence. The exception to the rule is when the GMs get flooded with a specific issue.

Sadly this also goes for bug reports. It seems the bug fix order is largely influenced by number of bug reports about a certain issue or outcry on the forums. No mather how serious, loosing materials because a job install times out seems serious, it won't get fixed. Been waiting 2 years to get it attached to defect, and since retribution it's finally made a defect.

I'd propose to Topic Starter to change the topic title, as we want to have some attention and response from CCP. Don't think that personal "vendetta" like title will make them easier to turn this thread to "blue" one. Change it to smth neutral like "Bubble deployment bug after decloaking". I'll be first to bump it up Blink
