Feature Idea for Explorers

I was thinking about how time consuming using hot key commands can be whilst exploring and I came up with this little idea.

What about a hot key command that automatically moves the probes so that their scan ranges overlap?

Basically, the command would move the probes one radius of their scan range towards each other.

All an Explorer would have to do would be too set up their probes to overlap, by however much they wanted.

This post might be moved to the feature and ideas board, but what do you guys think????

Thanks in advance.

I think we should learn from Mass Effect 3 and turn exploration into a properly streamlined experience as Bioware did there.

Or even better, you click a button and all stuff from space transfers into your hangar Lol

Exploration in ME3 was a big hit and miss.

The whole idea is to pinpoint a site.

However, having powerful ships chase you down, does add an edge to it.

i think that's fine as long as I can have a 5 second cycle on my d-scan so i can have adequate notice of my impending murder.

Too easy, and there already is one, it's the loot all button.

No I'm not bored of scanning, and I do use the alt button.

I just thought that it would be an idea to have a hot key that took the work out of using the alt button.

Just push the button and all your probes have moved inwards to overlap their scanning range.

The easy button isn't good enough. I too desire the Super Easy button.

Seriously though, people who are bad at scanning should practice more, not seek an out from the developers.

Eve was never supposed to be "easy". Its supposed to make you think about what you are doing, so a "make probing easy button" is a no no for me.

Next you will be asking for a safety switch so you don't accidently attack someone in high. Roll

Oh...wait...

The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long - and you have burned so very, very brightly..........

But then we will have people irritated by the tediousness of the Super Easy button and ask for the More Superer Easier Button. Of course then youll have those few who dont even want to push a button at all, in which case they will require a buttonless bot that pushes the More Superer Easier Button for them.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

It'd be nice if people stopped trying to change the least broken thing, and accepted that exploration simply isn't "for them."
