I had to apply a new pair of footwear!!! But it was like a few days ago I think.

Well this thread really has been a roller-coaster of emotion, I would have liked a little more foreplay as it were, maybe some will they / won't they at the beginning to build the tension, normally this poor start would have been enough to cripple such a performance but not in this thread. Oh no.

Suddenly the delightfully devious monologue on page 2 revealing it was a scam all along! Who saw that twist coming? Most certainly not me. Rounded off with the bitter ending for our brave investor, leaving not a single dry eye amongst the lurkers.


7/10 A shaky start, but then a truly gripping narrative, would read again. Look forward to any future works!
