Decent Solo PvP Jaguar Fit?

So I tried PvPing in a Wolf, didn't even get a chance to fight. (Nothing but unfair fights these days.)

I recently won a Jaguar in a Somer BLINK contest, and I figured I can try that. After doing some research, this is the fit I came up with:

Gyrostabilizer II
Tracking Enhancer II
Tracking Enhancer II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II

Warp Disruptor II
Micro Capacitor Booster I
Balmer Series Tracking Disruptor I
Coreli C-Type 1MN Microwarpdrive

250mm Light Artillery Cannon II
250mm Light Artillery Cannon II
250mm Light Artillery Cannon II
Empty

Small Projectile Ambit Extension I
Small Projectile Collision Accelerator I

This would be fitted with Republic Fleet EMP S, (can get up to 30km with that) a tracking disruptor script and Cap Booster 25s. Anybody have anything better? How should I fly this thing? Orbit at 25km? Would it be safe to replace the deadspace MWD on this with a T2 MWD?

I remember a close range dual MSE Jag fit that was pretty interesting. You should look that direction.

About 6 million, not that much when you compare the Coreli MWD is 25 million and the hull itself, which I got for "free" is another 25.

I'd recommend a close range dual MSE Jaguar. If you fit a MWD or AB depends on null sec vs low sec.

Take an arty Wolf and place it next to an arty Jaguar. Specifically compare the damage curve of 250's vs 250's and 280's vs 280's. Even though the Wolf has a falloff bonus it will out damage the Jaguar for most of the engagement range by virtue of having 4 turrets to 3. There is a small window where the Jag's optimal bonus let's it pull ahead, but it's a really small window.

Now the Jaguar is a naturally faster ship, but the Wolf with it's limited CPU and abundant lows will often fit speed mods and be faster still. The only reason to go with an arty Jag over the Wolf is some cap stability, some minor tank, or e-war shenanigans.

Finally, a 125mm rail Enyo puts both to shame. It has the best bonuses for a sniper ship - optimal (yes, optimal!), damage x 2, tracking, AND 4 turrets. Add just a reactive plate and a DC and you have around 7.5k EHP. That is head and shoulders above the Minmatar arty fits. Anytime an arty wolf has gone up against one of my rail Enyo's it dies or runs off with it's rail between it's legs.

TL;DR
Minmatar AF need a rethink.

Might i suggest an AF that isn't by far the worst AF of them all?

I mean you can still kill things with it but all the others are better.

With four mid-slots for extra ewar however, I don't think you should be counting out the always-dangerous Jaguarty

My apologies, I don't have much experience with PvP. (That's why I'm experimenting, so I can get some experience. Unfortunately there aren't many grounds where you can find a relatively even 1v1, or even a 2v1.)

I'll keep trying to find a fight with my Wolf and try the Jaguar when the Wolf dies. Never fought in anything besides a Thrasher so it may take some getting used to.

You can get an AF 1v1 in Amamake against Heretic Army. Just ask. Don't assume. ASK.

If your willing to go to the darkside you can du a pretty good dualrep setup:

You are proper terrible if you do so, still this would murder everything. Only has half the tank of a similar vengeance but the speed and the sig of it (22m) mean you tank twice as much vs rockets, and you are very very hard to track even for frig size weapons (a taranis using electrons (so pretty much the best tracking in the game) deals 2.5% of its dps to you if you manage to go fullspeed, 25% when you are only doing half your speed (this is while you beeing webbed, without the web the taranis does no damage at all))

Edit: forgot to put a nos on it, so just imagine one beeing there.
