I don't know why but I just have to share this idea, maybe because it's so simple and amazing but probably only just because I crave attention and validation like any average nerd.

The jist is the same concept as the ponderous Noctis but for use in hostile environments.
So like a Venture but with cycle time bonus or even just a normal cargo hold - see below

The Venture by itself as it stands now would be perfect with its awesome industrial looks and +2 warp core if it weren't for one small problem - The Ore Bay; it has only 50m3 standard cargo capacity.

Would anyone else like to see a mini Noctis with the Venture hull? I think it looks too cool and would like to see more of them creeping around low sec combat areas trying to risk striking some T2 salvage cheddar.

why? if you dont want to risk a noctis you can fit up a salvage destroyer instead

The t1 scouting frigs fill this position

"The homogenization of EVE began when Gallente and Caldari started sharing a weapon system."---Vermaak Doe-- "Ohh squabbles ohh I love my dust trolls like watching an episode of Maury with less " Is he my Dad " but more of " My Neighbor took a dump on my lawn " good episode! pops more corn" ---Evernub--

WHY?!?! lol, the same reason the Venture and the Noctis were created after the advent of salvage destroyer's in 2006.

Okay, fine - I just think it would be cool, look cool, and attract more people to high risk areas - Is that good enough? :P

Actually as Androch's stated salvage destroyer's are far more common but T1 scouting frigs and the former have no warp or salvage bonus's and you are forgetting the most important thing, how awesome the venture looks. This is important, okay?

If you haven't noticed all t1 scouters have salvaging bonuses, using a core stab fixes the other problem the noctis deals with
