Introducing ISKDaily Lotteries!

Current lottery prizes:
Tengu Hull (no fittings) Grand Prize
50,000,000 ISK Runner Up Prize.

Number of tickets available:
150/350

Ticket price:
1,000,000 ISK per ticket, no limit on the number of entries per person.

Send ISK to character:
Evanson Trading

Input reason:
Tengu Lotto, x tickets (replace x with the number of tickets being purchased).

Join channel 'ISKDaily lotteries' for any questions or concerns, and join our mailing list of the same name for updates whenever tickets are sold, drawings are made or announced, and other news from ISKDaily.

Draw will be conducted when tickets are completely sold out, or after one week if a minimum of 200 tickets are sold (runner up prize will not be drawn in this case). If 200 tickets are not sold, all tickets will be promptly refunded at the time the lotto is shut down.

Disclaimer:
Please submit for full ticket value being purchased. If, for example, 24,999,999 ISK is sent in an attempt to buy 25 tickets, only 24 will be assigned and the 999,999 will be refunded. Tickets are asigned in the order purchased. Any entries submitted after tickets are sold out will be refunded in full, with a note in the reason field. Complete ticket list will be posted at least an hour before dice are unlocked, and will not be edited within the hour prior to the dice unlock. One winner can win multiple prizes on the same draw.

ISKDaily is a new EVE Online lottery that plans to run at least once a week, if not every few days. Prizes will range from ship packages to large individual ships, ISK, and PLEX. The more lotteries we run, the bigger the prizes we can give away! All draws will be done with Chribba's Dice, and all will include at least one runner-up prize. Depending on popularity, we may begin running bump and number guess prizes as well.

While I can't deny using a poor choice in advertising technique, I can say that the simple truth it it is hard to put trust in a new lottery. Mass advertisment early on is a simple way of getting more people to see the lotto info and decide for themselves if they wish to purchase tickets or not. If you'd like to be helpful, I'm open to less "scammy" ideas for advertising a new lotto. Fact is, gotta start somewhere to build any sort of reputation. We'll find out in less than a week, when I either hand out some prizes or give some money back.

u should try some missions if u want to make some isk .... and ccp should allow us the option to ignore some ******** spammers chars om main chat

You should try making a Channel that updates the status on your lottos and would allow other people to be more interested in your lottos.
You could also start building mailing lists for those who request them so they can find your lottos easyer and creates a repeated customer system.
Other than that its pretty much word to mouth.
Not saying stop spamming even though it is annoying to deal with if people dont like it theres a blocklist for that so no one really has a right to cry about somthing they can fix themselves.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've created a channel and mailing list to help keep people updated, and both of these will be in full use for my next draw. That said, we're 44 tickets away from a guarenteed drawing. Even if not all of those 44 tickets sell, I will evaluate and may do the drawing anyway. I'll be sending an EVEmail out to those who have purchased tickets so far as to how that will procede, if we go ahead with the drawing with under the full amount of tickets sold.

We still have 194 ticket to sell, however, I've decided that the drawing will carry on no matter what, even if we don't reach the minimum number of 200 tickets. For both the Tengu AND the runner up prize of 50 million. The drawing will take place sometime on Friday evening, mountain standard time. If not all tickets are sold, the dice will be unlocked. If a ticket is drawn that was not sold, for either prize, new dice will be drawn and posted in a separate post, then unlocked.

Due to some unforeseen real life circumstances, the draw will be post-poned and drawn as soon as I wake up in the morning. Here is the ticket list:

1-20 = Ahri Ohto
21-120 = Nalimali
121 = SirSoda Dominic
122-151 = Ahri Ohto
152-156 = nightstocker
157-200 = Ahri Ohto

I will edit this post tomorrow when I wake up, and unlock the dice and announce a winner. Good luck everyone involved. Ticket sales are now closed, anyone purchasing a ticket at this time will be messaged and offered a refund or to have the tickets applied to the next draw, which will also be announced tomorrow.

Dice unlocked. winning numbers are 302 and 202, which is unfortunate, because both those tickets did not sell. New dice have been rolled, which can be found here and are limited to numbers 1-200.

If you are going to start with these lotteries on a rugular basis you need to start wake up. The dice should be unlocked hours ago.

New dice are unlocked, winning numbers are 186 for the Tengu and 158 for the 50 million. Ahri Ohto holds both of those tickets, so congratulations Ahri!

Again, I do deeply applogize for the delays, like I said, yesterday and today I've had to deal with a real life issue that I could not avoid. The next draw will be announced very shortly, good luck everyone!
