From the Sisi I see CCP has made a start to deploying commandship rebalances. Warfare link limits are being removed from T1 BC, T2 combat commandships and T3 commandships.

But currently there is a huge difference between pilot with mindlink and who without. Namely 66% versus 100%.

Yes the one with mindlink is supposed to get advantages, but:
1, This implant is very difficult to get trained to fit;
2, The 50% raw bonus(34% final bonus) for a single implant is too outstanding comparing with any other implants from the game;
3, There is not any mid-points between "50% bonus" and "0% bonus".

The mindlinks currently look like lone 5% implants without any 1% and 3% variants.

It would be nice to see some new warfare mindlinks with lower bonus: 15% -> 35% -> 50% with low skill requirements, and make them available from FW lp store or concord LP store.

EVE is hard, deal with it. Being a bit jaggy around the edges is what gives it character and if it frustrates a handful of players, tough luck.

having less powerful mind links and making them more available sounds good

Time to nuke mindlinks to oblivion is more like.

No LP shop mindlinks. No nerf. It should be kept expensive, rare, and good. Those willing to risk the isk should get benefits for their risk, and those who are not penalized for their risk aversion.

EVE is hard, deal with it. Let's have an implant requires 4 races BS V and give a 50% bonus to all large turret damage.

Those who willing to risk the 5%(5+) implants should get benefits for their risk, punish those who don't want risk by removing all 1%,3%, +1, +3, +4 implants!

There are things wrong with mindlinks, but none of the things you said.

I would support the rejigging of minlinks - 1, 3, 5% type variants wouldn't go amiss.

I hate to suggest any kind of nerf to gang boosting, theres enough people just very vocally calling for them to be nerfed into the ground because eve is too hard for them and I don't really want to add to that but with the current setup for instance recon bonus + maxed ganglinks + mindlink is overly powerful, reducing the bonus of the top end mindlink and/or moving it to a position where its equivalent to like the mining link is now with regards to getting hold of, cost, etc. would help to balance things a lot.

I personally think the mindlink should NOT be implanted in the fleet booster's head, but in the receiver's head...

Want that Lachesis to get a 30% bonus to warp disruptor range... then the Lachesis pilot should have the mindlink in their head, to amplify the boost from the Loki Pilot... This would go a long way in reducing the potency of fleet boosters, because suddenly only a handful in fleet actually get the super-potent boosts...

*edit* I proposed this a week or so ago

*edit* I would support increasing the availability of mindlinks with this change... be it LP stores or whatever... but I would NOT support decreasing their skill requirements...

Decrease the skill requirement by introducing variants with lower bonus. There is no need to decrease the skill requirement for 50% one if ccp could introduce 15% and 35% mindlinks, with lower skill barrier.
