About 3000 T1 cruisers, 3 shuttles, a Hurricane, and a Worm.

People keep ships that aren't fitted?

All the time. As an avid fan of RvB, pvp, and the kestrel, I have 9 prefit and ready to go, divided into 4 types (rocket brawler, semi-tanky, semi-fast tackle, kiting/sniper, and odd ewar variant). I made the hulls before the recent change increasing mineral requirements. All fittings use rigs, but the rigs vary from fitting to fitting. I have a large collection of mods, ammo, and rigs used, so I can fit more whenever.

I only have a few prefitted, though, because I don't know what i will use, lose, and need to replace. I have enough ready to reship for a prolonged fight, but just fit more when the prefit ones run low.

Plus, though, I have mods to spare, I may not use them on kestrels. I may need more corax, tawler, breacher, or who knows what.

So really, having hulls ready but unfitted works for me and many others.

I have several hundred ships, of all classes and tech.

25 ships in hangar currently. And, yes, I fly mostly T1 ships fitted with cost efficiency in mind and I never load anything into my ships that is not necessary nor do I overload the cargo.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

No idea at all.

I try not to look at my asset list too much as it depresses the hell out of me - stuff from one end of the universe to the other. Hell I have some stuff in Akora I haven't been near in 4 years, I don't want to think about how they're fitted Lol

You have to have extras in case 1 goes pop....

150-200, counting only T1 cruiser and above...I'm not about to bother counting throwaway ships...(Frigs, dessies)

I only know this due to cleaning up inventory across the universe over the last 6 months.

In my base of operations, ready to fly? 20-30.

Ready to be fit? 100+

Across all my assets? Probably a few hundred.

I will go with a lot as a number. I honestly have trouble keeping track of which ships are where and eventually have to look at my assets tab and find them.

I do it slightly differently. Once I have a build I like, I save it, then buy a stack of hulls, and the modules, rigs, drones, and ammo necessary to fit the entire stack, and freight 'em out to wherever I'm currently working. I leave 'em in the hold & hanger all packaged up until I need one.

Assemble the ship, open the fitting browser, select a fit, and hit the button - Pow! Instant ship faster & easier than a bowl of ramen, ready to go out and do what I want to do.

Of course, that does mean I've got fitted hulls all over the place, too. Blink

Trust me, jEveAssets is worth it. The stockpile function and import EFT fit is brilliant.

I couldn't tell you honestly. I have a habit of leaving fully fit ships all over the place. I went to Aunenen not long ago & discovered I had a faction fit Machariel in station.

I lost count. I have ships all over the place due to shenanigans.

And literally hundreds of shuttles. I supply them to pirate victims at surprisingly reasonable prices for the area.

Simply go into your Assets widow and enter "ship" into the search field. It then searches for all your ships.

I tend to keep it light, though I've acquired a fair number of battleships positioned all over highsec, left behind after fleet actions because I can't fit them in an orca without trashing rigs. Aside from those, I tend to maintain a handful of frigs, an interceptor, an active tanking *something*, a few T3s, and something for sniping. Beyond that, I prefer to be able to buy what I need when I need it than have a ton of stuff piled up.
