CCP make it possible to free the slaves

Seeing Lincoln, Django Unchained, and Wreck-it Ralph has inspired me.
Freedom is in the air.

I want to give them some isk and let them go and start new life.

Converting them from slaves to non-slaves might even save some people from being killed for unknowingly transporting contraband. You never know.

Before the LP store there was an offer available from Matari mission agents. For a quantity of LP, a stack of slaves (and possibly some ISK, I can't remember) the agent would provide a stack of Freed Slaves.
A friend of mine was constantly in search of slaves to fulfill that offer, smuggling them from Caldari and Amarr space to their agent in Matari space to emancipate them.
When the LP store was introduced it was among the many offers which vanished entirely... Which was a loss for the game IMHO.

Back in the days you could Right-click Slaves and "Free", that did turn them into the "Freed Slaves" that are in-game today. I want that option back.

But really they arent free, Beceause they are still stuck in your hanger? If not and you want to release them into space they are only stuck in an air tight container in the middle of space. They are surely going to die when they run out of oxygen or food. You are commiting Genocide if you just 'Trash' them. It surely is a dilemma.

Now if they are suddenly freed how would they know how to get food, clothing or shelter?

You are damning these slaves to a cold agonizing death.

I think to keep the balance we gain the ability to right click on the and return them to the Amarr Empire.

For their own good.

If you have a bunch of them you can always contact the Republic contacts and have them help you free them.

I'd be quite happy to see a mechanism for freeing slaves - as long I can convert janitors, militants etc into new slaves Twisted
