CONCORD can do fine with the 11% they get from NPC corps, so no need to pay them any more.

I approve +1, this is a compelling idea it makes sense on so many levels. - what's the fuss, it exposes the hegemony of CONCORD as the bribable entity it already is. However I'd prefer to see this insurance at the corporation level.

But what will you do, when CONCORD stops doing it for free?

Doing it for free has kept them going the last decade... I can't imagine that business model is going to collapse anytime soon...

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!

Yeah, with this playerbase certainly. But they are stable with those numbers, maybe its better to leave it the way it is. P

screw these nay sayers. i like this idea. just don't have it lit up in neon whether that toon has concord or not. I mean we already have it to where you can't cargo scan certain ships and you don't know their implants or insurance.

this is another form of insurance that doesnt print isk back into the economy. who says it has to but expensive to where not everyone can afford it? make it like clone upgrade expensive or something

Meh? Why meh? ISKs are flowing into system at a higer rate than before, more active players. And since when you can get service like CONCORD in real life for free? Where is the point to have CONCORD in such a way it is today? It would add realism, and it will not favour those with ISK.

It quite clearly favours those with isk, even if it's skillpoint based. Also what country do you live in where you have to pay the police to come and help you?

I thought they get a portion of their earnings from the fact that capsule pilots have to to keep their license by either paying the subscription fee or through the use of a PLEX (which currently costs roughly 500+mil in game). There is no need for this even on an immersion basis.
