PLEX selling question. :)

Hello all,

the burden and curse that is...real life...is getting in the way of my REAL real life in EVE. I'm thinking of buying and selling a PLEX to treat myself to a little pocket money to play with in my maiden week here cause I just can't get on much for the next two weeks. Is the selling of PLEX a short or lengthy endeavour? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

If you move any of your characters to Jita and dock in the IV-4 station before redeeming the PLEX on that character, it will only take a couple of seconds to sell it, as there are plenty of decent buy orders up there at all times.

If all your characters are quite far away from Jita and don't feel like moving, if you have a free character slot, it would be best to just create a new Caldari char to sell the goods (you should be able to get to Jita very fast) then biomass it after you transfer the ISK away to your main.

A lot of other regions keep decent PLEX buy orders up most of the time, if Jita is not to your liking at all.
Worst case scenario, you could just put up a sell order wherever it is you usually hang out in.
If the price is not too outrageously high (and the market is not near-dead in whatever region you live), it will almost certainly get bought from you overnight by somebody.

Worth repeating : first move char to Jita, THEN redeem PLEX on it, NOT the other way around.
The other way around (and then carrying it in your ship's cargo) is the best way to LOSE your PLEX to somebody.

Once redeemed, even if you reverse-redeem it, you can only re-redeem it in the exact same spot it was reverse-redeemed from, not in any other location.
It's only that very first initial redemption that's possible anywhere.

When I haul PLEX, it's a max of 2 per freighter. Never had a problem, though it " seems like an awful waste of space."

I only haul them so they can be deposited into member hangars, which seems to require an office.
