Being a Criminal?

Very uninformed question here. I've been reading and was wondering , when you become a criminal, where do you dock you ship? Are red characters allowed on bases in Null space? If not where and how do you access you clone, and stash your stuff and logoff at? Can you transfer your clone to a Null space base?
It seems like a logistical nightmare going criminal lol

By criminal I am assuming you mean -5 or lower security status.

You can still dock anywhere you could dock previously, the difference is the faction police coming after you, and the ability of other players to shoot you as well. All services can be accessed since you can dock anywhere, just expect to need something smaller/agile to evade the police/other players while you travel between systems. A Vigil fit with nanofiber internal structures does wonders for that, and I am sure there are other frigates that would fulfill that role quite well.

As far as the 0.0 goes, you can dock at any stations you have access to. This means NPC 0.0, and I believe all other stations can be set to only permit players with a certain standing to dock. So assuming you are not in a 0.0 corporation, you aren't likely to be able to dock anywhere in 0.0 other than NPC space.

The possible exception to this would be in the Providence region. Assuming you somehow have neutral or positive standings towards CVA, you should be able to dock in a good deal of Providence, but I believe you require at least neutral standing.

It may make things more difficult, but there are many people who have spent the majority of their careers in that situation and love it. Depending on your corporation, logistics may be taken care of, but if not, an alt should be able to handle it. If for whatever reason you don't have either, there are a couple shipping services that come up every so often willing to ship stuff into your system for a fee.

Pretty much all of the above.

I'm a "criminal" (-9.0 security status) and base mostly out of a low-sec station (no NPC station will deny you docking rights based on standings or security status). Anyone can shoot me anytime anywhere and I don't go into high-sec much because I dislike being harassed by the Faction Police (which anything frig sized can evade).

I get supplies and new ships by contacting my "law abiding" friends and getting it shipped to me (for a fee) or by buying stuff off the low-sec markets (at a premium).

I make ISK by running low-sec missions, taking over Faction Warfare plexes, finding probable anomalies, and picking through the remains of those I kill.
