Improving Cargo Scanners: Mouse-over ISK value estimation

One feature that I noticed has been phased in recently:

Increased information about ISK values of stacked items.

While its only an estimation, its quite convenient tool for any trader/industrialist to quickly estimate the value of a load of items before you sell them or move them.

I'd like to see this function added to the Cargo Scanners as well.
Would be nice to be able to simply 'mouse-over' the listed items in an given cargo ship and get a snap assessment of the value, without time consuming clicks or mental math.

After all, when ganking for profit, seconds count, and time wasted attempting to figure out the value of a given target is worth, is time that could have been spend better coordinating a successful gank......insuring the kill.

While most gankers are pretty good at quickly estimating values of items that are carried to and fro across New Eden.....
but sometimes..... you just can't quite remember the value of a few things....or the list is quite long with tons of low-value items.

Seeing as how this feature has been widely introduced - I'd hate to see us miss out.

TLDR:
Bring 'mouse-over' ISK estimation functionality to the Cargo Scanner, as implemented in the inventory system.

We have it elsewhere, why not in the scan results? Good idea Wilkus.

Yup, supported. +1 good idea.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

Even though I know how its going to be used I have to say its a good idea.

If the other parts of the UI can do it, the scanner should as well. I'm sure there are people who would appreciate it.

I see no point in scanning. Just suicide them down and let the loot fairy sort the rest.

edit: I have nutrition on my mind that was meant to be fairy.

This seems like a good idea to save time, similar to mousing over modules they added in.

NPC corps sure support this idea a lot Roll

Might as well, everyone knows what it's wanted for. Means more people can get in on the ganking because they don't need to sit and do some math first.

No need to make this an extra thread. Slap your idea onto the mega-thread that's floating around on the first or second page here in GD. Your idea is simple enough and should not be difficult to add to the game.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

If we have it in inventory window, I don't see why we can't when it comes to window of another ship's inventory. aka scan results.

In case this happens, I'll consider a hisec ganker career. So I can stay in Hisec, feel safe, while being a threat to all others. And finally can switch sides in EGD.
