yeah, well, i have basic knowledge in dealing with rats in the other empires. but i've never done missions in Amarr space, mostly because of the blood raiders. they're the most annoying rats after the guristas. so i wanted some advice since i have my main base of operations there, and want to star doing some missions when not mining.

notice that i only got the basic skills for combat, except for drones which is a bit more advanced.

Don't fly turret boat. The new and improved npc td pwns turretboats. Other than that, not much different from other empires.

Easiest thing then would be not to do the missions with NOS.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

"turret boat" = ship that uses turrets. He means use missles because the TD is quite annoying. Depending on mission level staying at long range seems to work fine also, but that isn't always practical.

It's beyond "annoying," the worse missions are undoable at all. Your optimal and falloff combined is reduced to 5km by the non-stacking-penalized npc td, and once you get that close, your guns won't track even BS sized rats because your tracking is reduced to nil. Neut was never the issue, as your cap isn't drained instantly, you still have the ability to kill the rat, where the new and improved td will render your guns useless instantly.

Right now the best suggestion is to not run Amarr missions from what I've read in the forums they are TD broken. Sorry but for now U R screwed.

If you really have to run in Amarr space, then either that or use sniper fit in missions that feature a lot of TDs.
Of all missions my agent provides only Sansha Blockade requires something like that, other missions are trivial.

No for sure. TDs are going to affect missiles next expansion or even sooner.

Whatever.

OP, how far away is your closest lvl4 agent that isnt an Amarr agent? One of my homes is in Amarr space, but I cant even do lvl2 missions with Amarr because my standings suck. However, i have 5.0 with Gallente and Minmatarr. I found a lvl 4 Minmatar agent where i live. So i just do missions from that agent when im there.

Find any lvl 4 agent near you that isnt an Amarrian agent. Use a shuttle to get there and have your mission ship there. Just because you are in Amarr doesnt mean you can only mission for Amarr. Also skill up your diplomacy skill as high as you can. It will help your faction standings. Its nice having a 5.0 standing with a faction and not being limited to one corp for missions.

Connections, not diplomacy.

Yeah Connections. Diplomacy helps the negative ones. If it wasnt for that skill my Amarr would be -5.
