All combat drones shooting lasers.. Why?

Dear eve dev's

Why are all of our combat drones only shooting lasers since retribution? what happened to the rat-tat-tat of our minny drones? the blasters of our gallente drones? and the rails of our caldari drones?

it feels odd to me... watching and hearing other combat drones shoot lasers... except amarr drones.

Would it be to much to ask to have these put back into the eve client?

All part of the plan to slowly phase out drones from the game.

Yeah, I really don't know why the original effects were removed, but I don't think it's for the better.

About the only thing I can say is that the sound effects for Gallente drones did need some definite improvement.

Well, obviously CCP did it to buff Amarr drones.
Gallente: Most DPS.
Minmatar: Fatest.
Amarr: No weird, unfitting weapon system.
Caldari: ECM drones...?

I already get enough Pew pew pew! from Amarr drones n lazors... i don't need anymore from other combat drones...

Minny drones need there rat-tat-tat back... Gallente drones need there thud back.. and Caldari drones need there rail zap... it's just not the same without them.
