I just recently bought a Moa but am thinking of switching to Caracal. My skills aren't super high and I probably can't fit any tech II. I was wondering if someone had a good pve reccomendation for the Caracal. If you are wondering about my skill levels let me know and I can tell you what they are.

Thanks!!!

one of the best ways for rookies to make money and learn the ropes at the game is faction war.

A cheap frig can pay itself 10 times over doing just one or two complexes that are quite easy to do. If ya get blown up, as a rookie, you don't lose alot really anyway. Plus you can make some fantastic connections with people who are usually pretty patient to new players and help them learn the ropes. Finally you'll learn not to fear PVP, which is what EVE does VERY well.

Have you tried looking at www.battleclinic.com yet? They have plenty of loadouts, good and bad ones. Take a look at them, see which ones you might like and modify them to your needs.

There are also tools like EFT and PYFA that help you to experiment with fittings.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Caracal is really a no-brainer to fit for pve.
Use either rapid light missile launchers or Heavy missile launchers, two large shield extenders, kinetic and ballistic hardeners if you fly against guristas + Afterburner (optional for PvE, but saves you a lot of time).
Lowslots should be 2-3 ballistic control systems, one shield power relay and maybe a Damage control unit.
3x Core defense field purgers as rigs and you are ready to go.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Thanks! I can pretty much use any of those...I think I need to train two skills!

Helpful hint: Next time, post in Ships and Modules. Youll avoid most of the trolls.

This has been my monthly good deed. I will now resume regular **** posting.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

The purpose of the forum is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.

5. Ranting is prohibited
A rant is a long-winded, redundant post, often filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and helpful in the development of the game, but rants are disruptive and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents.

16. "Newbie" bashing will not be tolerated, particularly in the Newcomer's Forum.
New forum members are encouraged to use, but not restricted to, the Newcomer's Forum. The Newcomer's Forum is specifically designed to provide a platform for those who are new to the Eve community to ask questions and learn more about the game. Regular forum users are encouraged to be helpful and courteous in their responses. All flames will be automatically deleted and the poster may be warned or permanently barred from future forum use. The answers to many new players' questions may be found in the Eve Knowledge Base and we encourage our players to seek information there before posing questions on the boards.

Thread cleaned up, and moved to Ships & Modules subforum. Please stay courteous and constructive, guys!

use pyfa or eft.
Make sure to re import your skills as they change

on caracals -
fit missiles and shield tank, flux coils are terrible for everything. Power diagnostic systems are great. use a damage control.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.
