You asked for feedback on it, but there isnt any sticky.

For those who dont know, there is a jovian bc on sisi. It has bonuses to all weapon systems 6/6/5 slot layout, 5 hardpoints, drone/drone hp bonuses. It also has these wierd flat resists

It sounds pretty neat and versatile.


However, its the same speed as a tempest, and a teeny bit faster than a megathron. Its speed makes it pretty much unplayable imo, since it has no projection bonuses.

With dat scan strength bonus, I wonder if this is geared towards exploration. equally tankable against all types of rats and whatnot.

I don't think I've ever heard tempests or megathrons called 'slow' before.

With its current speed it's very limited. That could be on purpose, but to be useful in pvp it's gonna need to be quite a bit faster.

not eveery ship in the game needs to be pvp oriented, perhaps they built it for the mission/incursion runners

I understood CCP might not be intending this ship for pvp. Perhaps they gave it slow speed for that very reason so that it would be mostly limited to missions/incursions.

My point was simply that IF it's gonna be viable in pvp, CCP might want to give it more speed.

You could try fitting a prop mod to it, then it'll go faster. P

It's got a mass of 10,000 tonnes, that's a lot less than BCs. It's the same mass as a Wreathe, so put a Wreathe into EFT then fiddle with its base speed to get the listed 150 m/s of the Gnosis. Three armour rigs with Rigging 0 should do it. That gives a MWD speed of 1097 m/s, which will be alright for a BC.

And it's got an agility of 0.3038. Modify the Wreathe's agility to get that too and it comes out with an align time of 4.3 s, 6.4 s with MWD on.

No, that's slow.

Makes for a very slow brawler once you factor in plates and rigs. And with no bonus to damage projection it wouldn't be great at brawling. If you shield tank it with a couple nanos it's still not nearly fast enough to kite.

Yeah maybe you shouldn't look at the other battlecruisers then, you may get upset.

TBH, if you want to kite with a T1 medium-weapon platform, you should be flying a cruiser.
