So I have been training off and on for a few years and my skills are all over the place I think. Now that I am actually playing EvE seriously I need some help getting refocused. Right now I have been doing a lot of missions running and wanting to get into Factional Warfare for some PvP. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance!

1. Stop Buying Skillbooks !!!!

2. Stop training shield skills !!! You are Amarr !!!!

Focus on something.
Drones
Guns
Armor tank

and just train those categories for a few months each.

That's my short version. It's late, I'm tired Cool

Like he said. Use Certificates as a guide to make sure you didn't miss anything.

Thanks for the tips. What are some good armor tank skills to have?

Just use the Certs for the time being. Armor tanking Improved, start there.

Prioritize:

1. Skills that affect all ships: core skills.
2. Skills that affect many ships: support skills.
3. Skills that affect a few (or one) ship: specialization.

Also ask yourself: Do I want to improve my current ship, or move to something else? This can supersede the above priorities.

Most certificates are okay up to Improved, but the Elite certificates can be questionable. Generally Core Competency Standard is a good place to start.
