I am here to confirm I have not been activated to defend Chribba's posting.

Couldn't he even get a DC II?

Xenuria, do not start with asking for volunteers, but offer rewards. This would be an important step if you want to be taken serious in your attempt to improve Risk vs. Reward. You cannot expect to be rewarded with results when you don't risk losing some ISKs in the process. It makes you unbelievable.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

What's wrong with trying for a little riskless reward on General Discussion?

Isn't it the highsec of EVEO forums?

I cannot offer any kind of incentive for participation because that would invalidate any data I collected from said participation.

Chribba a troller? What has the world come to!

Anyways a good deal of the player base uses PvE to pay for their plex. Those who do not wish to PvE and PvP instead often sell those plex to PvEers.

If you increase the risk for PvEers, it just reduces their ability to earn isk and therefor they will buy less plex from the PvPers.

Thus negavitely affecting the status quo in the economy.

Looking to talk on VOIP with other EVE players? Are you new and need help with EVE (welfare) or looking for advice? Looking for adversarial debate with angry people?

I understand what you are saying. Right now I am focusing on reward.
Things like Bounties, Standing, Loyalty Points, Item rewards, Isk Payouts, etc.

EVE does most of the work for me by storing these values in plain text charts.
For isk you can look at the wallet, for lp the journal, etc. So collecting the data and verifying its accuracy is easier then if this was any game other than eve.

Just so you know... There are some obscene rewards for Faction Warfare. Basically you can get 25K loyalty points for capturing a medium outpost in low sec.

I do this on occasion, but it is sometimes risky depending on what time of day it is.

[edit]

To get 25,000 lp you have to take the outpost by yourself so if there is an enemy fleet in the system then forget about it. You can capture the posts in a fleet but the lp is divided equally amoung the members who took the post.

Now that they are moving data cores from NPC agents to FW I would say the reward for FW is going to be even greater.

Hmmm. I've never met anyone who would admit that they respected Chribba. Maybe I hang out with the wrong people?

Anyway, I'm a data collector myself, and a member of a mission running corp. I would be happy to share whatever data you are interested in, and I think that other corp members would be as well.

That is awesome! Thank you so much.

I will send you an eve mail with all the information you need to provide data.

Man this is good.

The best part is, talking trash to Chribba cost you probably about 100 accounts in votes...good luck recovering that with your great hat videos.

He was either intentionally trying to troll or he was intoxicated. I don't feel bad about asking him to stop.

Chribba is not the issue.

Maybe for the first time you have a candidate who is willing to do some work to be good at the job. Maybe she can make CCP listen if she has data to back her up. (Another first)

If you aren't interested in providing data, why even post in this thread? You're wasting keystrokes. And remember, you only get so many before your keyboard goes silent. :)

No, this is a serious thread about me being serious. It is my stance that no matter how many people out there troll and insult me their jeers will be nowhere near as loud and booming as the solid data I plan to collect.

Don't get me wrong, there are PLENTY of candidates out there that are worth your vote. I just feel that if I can provide solid data and metrics, that information will speak for itself. It will be plainly obvious that A, there is a problem and B I am in a good position to consult with on a solution.

If I can pull this off it won't matter what people think of ME the PERSON, the data will hopefully be very hard to refute.

Dude's whole campain is dead in one post...man that was perfect timing and funny as ****.

Xenuria: Hi, I would like attention and someone to talk to. Hopefully I'll gain enough friends to get a free trip to Iceland to creep out everyone in the meetings.

Any player can only run so many missions in a day. Are you against the idea of collecting data to get a broader perspective?

No data, IRL or in game is guaranteed to be accurate. That is why you collect lots, and exclude the boundary cases. There are a number of very well documented statistical methods for doing this.

So what is (EDIT) your real problem?

Its becoming more and more obvious to me that this game is dominated by people who haven't grown out of highschool. What I dont understand is why people haven't realized that there are no teachers around to keep you from beating the **** out of them.
