As stated in this dev blog: http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=73530

"It is also worth noting that we will adjust ship mineral requirements as we continue with the rebalancing."

So... does anybody know what that change will be like?

The changes are on sisi now, so you could easily get on to find out yourself. The cliff notes are a 50-80% (depending on the ship) build cost increase for tier 1 and a 7-15% increase for tier 2. Tier 3 is untouched.

The huge stockpile of BC that are going to be made before this change ...

It is going to be fun to watch... then again they die a lot faster than mining shipsTwisted

This change supposed to be coming out with the BC fixes in 1.1?

The extra demand will make the frigate price spike look like blip.

I suppose the ongoing revisions might bump up the mineral needs of the tier 3 BC's, or are they considered to be the benchmark to rebalance the lesser BC's ?

perhaps read the post #2?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Maybe you're thinking of the cruiser spike, they happened at the same time?

It's not too late, minerals haven't started moving, yet. The hulls themselves have, but they're low hanging fruit.

That said the percentages are posted above, if you want exact numbers either stop being lazy and go check sisi yourself, or wait for someone else to post them.

By the time you asked, some are already planning when to unload. Just saying.

I just had a really good meal and the info is already in a spreadsheet of mine anyway, so I decided to be generous.

It might have been the meal, but I´ve the strong feeling that the~100bil Trit you invested in, werent totally unretaled aswell, heh?

just as a quick reminder:
Procurer price Jita : ~7.500.000 mil (current)
Procurer build cost: ~24.500.000 mil

why? because the over-production that happened 2-3 weeks before the changes took place, will simply cover the procurer demand for the next 3-4 years.

guess whats gona happen to Tier 1 BC´s, but make your own experience

and no I did not invest in anything this time ;)

Selling Procurers at 7.5m is 3 times what they cost to build. Making 3 times the ISK invested is doing well even if it takes a year or more to sell them off.

You just stated the main reason for procurer prices. How many people actually fly those or skiffs these days? That's what I thought.

That's all for my own tiericide consumption. I am merely seeking to provide a public service to interested fellow investors.

The New Order has increased demand for procurer / skiffs. The plan is to make the miners think that they are safe in these vessels. Purging of these ships will commence, once a critical number has been reached.

I am only throwing 30 bil at this BC tiericide , RL is killing me atm.

I did not hop on the barges bandwagon (edit: except to sell tons of Macks BPCs and ships), they die far too rarely to be an investment with sensible returns in a reasonable amount of time. Sure if I throw 100B I can get back 300 after 3 years... so what? It's a below 3.1% a month revenue. Only really useful to the few ones with hundreds billions sitting doing nothing.

To make a little comparison, in 1 month I netted 150-180% over regular Retriever / Mack BPCs which is certainly less than 300% but it's a month and not 1-3 years.
