Yes it is, the updated planet graphics and Nebula are definitely excellent eye candy.

The scene doesn't need much detail to be awe inspiring, such as this screen shot I like to call : Eve - The Final Frontier.

Anyway, there use to be some great location views available in various Cosmos missions, I don't know if the scene's are still active since the updated graphics, such as :

Guild Wars (1 of 4)

Lord Manel's Mansion
Another view

Lord Bastion

The Hyperbole Nexus

Rush Town Ruins

Red Rock Outpost

Serpentis Science Lab

Asteroid Station
Another one

Even some of the regular missions had it, like Recon (3 of 3)

Sometimes you'd see something unexpected, like The Black Monolith, or something simple like A Warning Sign or even an advertizement such as This Space For Rent or Just Say No

Then again, it didn't necessarily have to be something server side, like this Gate Message In Scheenins System

Sorry about the retro overload, I wasn't trying to diminish the wondrous beauty now available throughout the Eve Universe. Ever since I can remember, Eve Online has always been a beautiful sight to behold.

You can think about mining whatever you want, but 20+ strip mining laser and a fleet of exhumers plus orca are a very nice view. Sadly the last screenshot I made when I saw such a thing was before the new nebulas.
