Self explanatory really.
Would help with logistics ships immensely.

I was just mentioning this in an op the other day. Logi pilots always use watch list to take a proactive approach to saving their fleet member's ships; however, the capacitor at 0% can be just as deadly as 0% shields or armor, especially if active tanking. I wholeheartedly support adding the ability to see capacitor levels in the watch list as well.

Ship Scanner does not show the dynamics of capasitor change.

Sounds like a useful tool to have but i dont see as its really needed that badly, i mean when ppl need cap dont they just push the i need cap button on the fleet tab and the logi pilot gives them some,

there are already tools in place, if the ppl die because of not having cap then its their fault for not pushing the button or otherwise telling the logi pilot

this would be bad ass.
as you said, for logi pilots, it would greatly help us being proactive and keeping those cap hungry abaddons at bay.
for pvp in fleets, you can see who is being neuted or who is running low and needs to jet...

Yes!

I support this big time! You could have a forth bar in your watchlist showing the mates capacitor and apply your cap x-fers on your mate.

I was thinking about this the other day, we decided to non-logi a few C4 sites pulling agro with Ewar. Would have been a lot easier if cap was shown on the watch list. Not to mention when we have run with logi it would have been amazing.

Literally in a fleet on the 16th and we were saying the exact same thing.

Logi are powerful enough, they don't really need boosting.

So because you don't want to change your fit and add a module to allow you to do this. CCP should change the game and give you this info for free?

CCP, please just add 3x gyro's worth to the base dmg of all my ships so I no longer have to waste lows on gyros.

If we follow this line of thinking we should have to fit modules for everything we want to see on the UI.

So really we should have to fit a module if we want to see the status of the shields and or armour we are repping. Oh wait there is an indicator on the UI for that.

Honestly are you trolling?

Not trolling at all... I fly logistics more than anything else. I just see it as a pointless 'nice to have' for bad pilots.

And because of that I have just as much right to come in here and disagree with the idea as anyone who agrees with it.

Especially when it's already possible via a midslot module.

If it were implemented the only feasible way would be to use the watch list, if you could see just by targeting then it'd be too powerful as offensive intel.

Ah, that blue mana bar.Cool

Cost nothing to implement, why do we not already have this? +1

The module doesn't allow you to do this, so I don't know what you're going on about. There is no module that allows you to do this.

We have indicators for shields, armor, and structure. Why would an indicator for capacitor be a bad idea? Especially seeing as logi currently have to rely on broadcasts to know who needs capacitor and require people to explicitly tell them when they no longer need it.

You obviously have a right to disagree, but I also have a right to point out that your disagreement is for a really bad reason.

In any case note that the thread title says fleet member's capacitor status, which takes care of the offensive intel part of the argument.
I don't like the idea of making it part of the watchlist because it's too laggy at times, but if that could be fixed then sure.

Liked and +1.

While I haven't seen any lag from the watchlist, it does seem somewhat delayed which would be fine too. I like this idea and see its usefullness.

Except that capacitor data is not currently sent to other clients. It's a 1/3 increase in the amount of data that needs to be sent on every tick about ship status (s/a/h becomes s/a/h/c).

Nothing is ever free in software.
