So I was doing my Cosmos Missions and then got a pair of them for 20x Serpentis Tags. In total the tags cost over 50m which I don't have to spare.

I have not accepted the missions, they've only been offered. Wiki says if I Quit, Decline or let Expire I basically lose the mission altogether. Is there any other way besides paying the 50+ mil ISK?

EDIT: Just noticed I posted this at the wrong forum, could it be moved to Missions?

Do a LOT of serpentis missions

Also ask a GM to reset the agent so that you dont touch him until you DO have 50 mill :D

To find and farm the tags you need to find the special area's nearby and farm the place out esp battleships the problem is you'd better be well tanked and able to do atleast lvl 4's and understand YOU will be warp scrambled alot so be ready to deal with that cosmos missions have funny mechanics compared with regular missions, kill frigs and cruisers cause they do alot of damage cause of the amount of them.

Good luck.

Also the farming area's are nearby atleast no more then 0 to 4 jumps surrounding area.

Oh and only go to those special area's in a BC nothing more nothing less.

You can let the mission offers sit in your journal for about a week before accepting, then have another week to complete it after accepting. That basically gives you 2 weeks to come up with the ISK to buy the tags. Also you didn't actually specify what type of Serpentis Pirate tags are needed such as Silver, Bronze, etc.

Now about the tags, it seems you're referring to Data Center Agents. If so, those Agents only offer a 1 part mission which I believe you can decline and still get the same mission offered again later. At least it used to be like that. Now with all the various changes CCP has done, it wouldn't surprise me if CCP has also changed that for Data Center Agents.

Most Cosmos Agents usually offer multi- part mission series which, as the evelopedia page states, will lock out the agent (and possibly others) if mission is declined.

Back before the Agents Made Easy expansion (Standings change), you could decline the very first mission offer and still have it be available later. During the agent standing change, Cosmos agents got messed up and was allowing access at the lower standing requirement, CCP then changed those agents back to the old standing requirements which made them extremely buggy. In the process of fixing them (Cosmos Agents still don't show the correct amount of standing required for access), those agents started viewing a decline as a quit which everyone knows (except CCP it seems) there's a big difference between quitting an accepted mission and declining an offered mission.

So if it is indeed Data Center Agents, just decline one of the offers and complete the other one. That way you can still gain some standing from one of the agents. Then later when you have more ISK available, go back to the agent you declined and see if you can get mission offer again before actually buying the tags.
