Good Afternoon,

I have seen some previous posts regarding a patch to fix https issues with the IGB in Eve. My issue is that the IGB doesn't work for any sites even non https sites. I am still fairly new to linux so before I tried to apply that previous patch and mess something up I figured I would ask if this is a related issue that the previous patch for wine can fix or is this a different issue? Also I am running on Arch Linux.

If the previous patch mentioned in other posts will fix the issue is there some more detailed information on how to apply the patch?

I appreciate any help that you can provide.

What sort of error do you get when trying to visit a non-https site?

IGB crashes for me since todays patch

But I think it will not tell you about bad/expired/selfsigned cert...

Looking at the patch I can say that it doesn't short-circuit certificate checking, so it will warn about expired/invalid certificates.
