POCOs not going into reinforced

Hi all

I came across a strange issue recently where people were able to destroy POCOs without them going into a reinforced cycle.

On most occasions the aggressors would attack the POCO and notifications would be sent to the corp saying it had been attacked. Once the shield hit 25% a reinforced notification would go out and after a certain amount of time the POCO would exit reinforced mode at 0% shield to be repped back up or destroyed depending on who got there first. This is as expected with normal in game mechanics.

On a couple of occasions over the past few weeks though there has been instances where a POCO was checked in the morning and was fine and by the evening had been destroyed and replaced by the aggressing corps one. The reinforced timer is set so this should not happen however no in game notifications of aggression or saying it went into reinforced have been received. Add to this that there has been no reinforced cycle at all is very odd.

I have tried recreating the issue on the test server but cannot get it to happen. I also tried transferring a POCO to another corp on there to check that this wasn't what was happening but this generated a notification in game saying it had been transferred and who did it.

There has been a petition open for three weeks for this which has repeatedly been chased but there has been no response of any kind from CCP even one to say they have read the petition (shame on you CCP for such rubbish customer service).

I am not bothered by POCOs being attacked, reinforced and blown up but I do expect the game to warn me when it happens to one of mine and also to obey its own rules on reinforcement.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Cheers
