Downloaded the game last night and when I hit play the icon shows on my task bar and never loads. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it is still doing the same thing.
Any idea what the problem is?

Did you update the video driver? What kind of hardware do you have? A dxdiag file might be helpful: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/DxDiag
